Generali Asigurari reported an overall gross premium volume of 250 million RON for the first eight months of the year, up by 34% y/y. "The results for the first eight month of the year cover 87% of the target for the entire year 2007 following remarkable efforts by the sales force," said GM Tudor Moldovan. The overall value of life insurance premiums amounted to 36.5 million RON, up by 47 percent y/y. Non-life insurance generated gross subscribed premiums of 213.3 million RON, up by 32% y/y. Car and building insurance were the best-sellers of the referenced period.
