Hidromecanica - Brasov posted losses of 5.6 million RON (1.7 million EUR) for the first nine months of the year, up by 66% y/y. Revenues decreased 18.5% from 22.05 million RON to 16.3 million RON, whereas the turnover reached 14.17 million RON.
The company"s last year"s estimate for this year indicated a profit of some 100,00 RON and over 27 million RON in turnover. Hidromecanica was privatized again in 2005, when a 50.9% stake was sold to Lucian Garbacea. SIF Transilvania is the second largest shareholder with 45.21%.
