Industrial spaces projects for the Western area of Bucharest will be developed in several phases in the following period and will be finalized in 2-3 years, according to Rodica Tarcavu, industrial department manager of DTZ Echinox. She estimates that more developers will be interested in building logistics parks, which will increase competition.
The ample development of logistisc parks in the Western area of Bucharest is mainly due to the proximity of the Bucharest - Pitesti highway and the three junctions at Carrefour, Ciorogarla and Bolintin.
Some of the largest projects are Cefin Logistics Park (120.000 sqm), Bucharest West ( 40.000 sqm), Prologis Park Bucharest A1 (56.000 sqm) and Mercury Logistics Park (25.000 sqm). All these projects are built in compliance with European standards.
The average rent for the projects that are currently being developed In the Western area of the capital is 4.5 EUR/sqm/mth.
