LEGAL ISSUES Ţepeş found out about his resignation after handing it in

Daniel Ţepeş has been selling BSE stock throughout the entire last week.

On Friday he sold 28,650 shares, and in the afternoon he handed in his resignation from the Board of Directors of the BSE.

Is Daniel Ţepeş that spontaneous that in the morning he wouldn"t yet know about his own intention to hand in his resignation in the afternoon?

I will go ahead and answer "yes".

You can answer however you want, it is a free country.

Since I believe that Ţepeş doesn"t even know what he plans to do two second later, in my opinion he shouldn"t be blamed for violating the provisions concerning insider information. At times, he doesn"t even know what he did the previous second.

Ţepeş did not know he would resign, nor Tuesday, not Wednesday, nor Thursday, nor Friday, when he kept selling BSE shares.

Because if he knew, than he would have been required to announce his intention to resign, before he began selling his stock.

As a member of the Board of Directors of the BSE, he would have been required not to sell prior to announcing his intention to resign (to provide a famous example, prior to becoming president, George Bush was sued in the US for a similar illegality, when selling his shares in Harken Energy, before resigning from the Board of Directors).

But our man doesn"t premeditate, he does not plan, does not do backdoor dealings and most of all, he doesn"t lie; he is impulsive and he has decided to resign on the spot.

What is inexplicable is how, one week prior to his resignation, some people in the market and at the top of it knew for sure that Daniel Ţepeş would resign on Friday.

I think those people know Ţepeş better than he knows himself.
