EnglishMecanica Ceahlau has increased share capital by 2,665,141 RON, equal to 26,651,410 shares with a face value of 0.1 RON, issued to the existing shareholders free of charge, according to an announcement to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company has a share capital of 15,990,846 RON divided into 159,908,460 shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. For the time being, SIF Moldova holds 55.19% in Mecanica Ceahlau, followed by Citibank Nominee customers with 9.24% and Mei Roemenie en Bulgarije Fonds with 7.81%. The remaining 27.76% are free float on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Mecanica Ceahlau concluded last year with a profit of 2.26 million RON, down by 22% y/y. The turnover increased from 29.9 million RON in 2006 to 37.3 million RON in 2007.
