EnglishTransmission gear manufacturer Neptun SA - Campina (RASDAQ:NEPT) will disburse gross dividends of 1.9554 RON/share for 2006, which is double the dividends disbursed for 2005.
The overall value of the dividends is 5.26 million RON, equal to 95% of the net profit for 2006. In 2005, gross dividends stood at 0.9971 RON/share. Neptun"s Y2006 net profit was 74% higher than in the previous year, up from 3.18 million RON to 5.534 million RON. Last year, the turnover decreased 4% from 48.51 million RON in 2005 to 46.51 million RON.
Neptun SA - Campina increased share capital by 2.17 million RON from 6.72 million RON to 8.89 million RON through an IPO. Until the increase becomes effective, the company"s capital is 6.725 million RON divided into 2.69 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. The majority shareholder is Metaleuroest SRL - Campina with 82.33%.
