EnglishTriple play provider RCS&RDS is planning to attract 500 million USD by listing 15% on the London Stock Exchange in December. CEO Alexandru Oprea said the money would be used to expand in Central and Eastern Europe through a strong portfolio of cable and satellite television, Internet service, fixed and 3G telephony service. The shares will be listed as Global Depositary Receipts (GDR). According to Reuters, RCS&RDS has a market value of some 3.5 billion USD.
RCS&RDS concluded last year with 781.3 million RON in turnover and 122.7 million RON in profit. The company has approximately 2 million subscribers to television, telephony and internet services in Romania.
