"Sinteza" Oradea has seen its turnover decrease 9% in the first nine months of 2010, from 7.7 million lei to 7 million lei, posting a loss of 20,000 lei, after posting a profit 500,000 lei at the end of last year"s similar period. The third quarter of the year ended with a loss of 220,000 lei, whereas at the end of Q2 the company reported a profit of 200,000 lei.
During the reviewed period, the company has seen its revenue shrink 4%, from 9.2 to 8.8 million lei, while its expenses increased 2%, from 8.7 to 8.8 million lei.
The company manufactures chemical substances used for manufacturing drugs, as well as pesticides, insecticides, paints, fertilizer, white glue and colorants.
Sinteza is controlled by Porto Petrol SRL Timişoara, which owns 51.83% of the shares. Porto Petrol is owned by four individuals - Mirela Claudia Pongracz, Graţian Petlic, Ioana Gabriela Pop and Cristian Ovidiu Pop - each holding 25%. According to the latest reports, Sinteza has another individual shareholder, Tibor Tincău, which holds a 28.13% stake.
