The Management Board of hotel company THR Prahova (Tourism, Hotels, Restaurants) proposed to shareholders a share capital increase by 3,8 million RON, to 11,8 million RON, according to a report to Rasdaq, quoted by NewsIn. The General Meeting of shareholders will be held on April 17th. The company will issue 38 million shares, at a subscription price of 0,10 RON, equal to the face value of the shares.
For the first nine months of 2006, THR Prahova posted 3,41 million RON in net profit and nearly 4,8 million RON in turnover, up 40,3% from the corresponding period of 2005. The company has a share capital of 8 million RON, divided into 80,26 million shares with a face value of 0,10 RON and a capitalization of 16 million RON. The majority shareholder is SIF Transilvania, holding 89,49% in the company. THR Prahova shares are listed on the first tier of Rasdaq as TUSI. The Board of SIF Transilvania proposes to shareholders a merger through absorbtion between THR Prahova SA, Orizont Turism SA and Aro-Palace SA, as well as the listing of the resulting company on the stock exchange.
