EnglishTractorul UTB - Brasov is planning to lay off 1,924 employees and has asked the shareholders to authorize this decision. The shareholders will convene on February 12th to vote on this decision as well as on the initiation of voluntary liquidation procedures.
The tractor manufacturer has a share capital of 92.3 million RON divided into shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. The State Assets Recovery Authority (AVAS) is the majority shareholder with 80.18%. Tractorul shares are traded on RASDAQ as TRUX.
