Shareholders in ceramics manufacturer Vulturul SA - Comarnic (RASDAQ:VULT) have decided to increase share capital by 8.08 million RON (2.42 million EUR) to 16.16 million RON (4.84 million EUR) through a capital injection. For this purpose, the company will issue 3.23 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON, equal to the subscription price. Shareholders registered as such by October 29th will have preemptive rights to one new share for every existing share.
At the end of H1, VULT posted a turnover of 3.35 million RON (1.06 million EUR), slightly down from 2006:H1, when the figure was 3.37 million RON. The net profit was 1.72 million RON (548,800 EUR), up 19.4x from the 88,600 RON posted in H1 last year. The majority shareholder is Catalin Chelu with 52.05%, followed by SIF Muntenia with 32.96%.
