Waterwe Ventures LTD on Friday acquired 9.5% in Asirom (60.900.000 shares) from minority shareholder Broadhurst Investments Limited, according to a report to Rasdaq. The company paid 0.64 RON/share, the transaction totaling over 38.97 million RON (11.95 million EUR).
Asirom SA ended 2006 with a gross profit of 14 million RON, after having posted losses in the past year, according to NewsIn. Revenue totaled 638 million RON (181 million EUR), increasing by 7.8% from 2005. The company expects revenue to increase by 15 - 20% in the current fiscal year. In May this year, Interagro held 50% in Asirom, QVT Fund - 12.23% and Broadhurst Investments Limited - 14.93%. AVAS controled 6.38%.
