BRD Sogelease IFN SA, the financial leasing arm of BRD - Group Societe Generale concluded over 3400 contracts in 2006, up by 36% from 2005. The overall value of the contracts was 174.5 million EUR, up by 43% year-on-year. Most of the contracts concerned by utility vehicles (46.4%), cars (22.7%) and construction equipment (13.7%). The company is a founding member of the Leasing and Non-Banking Financial Service Association, comprising over 20 leasing companies and some 60% of the Romanian market.
