Mecanica Rotes SA Targoviste posted a net profit of 1,5 million RON for 2006, down by 22% compared to 2005, when the company reported a net profit of 1,92 million RON, according to a report to Rasdaq, quoted by NewsIn. The company"s turnover increased by 3,6%, to 6 million RON, compared to 2005, when Mecanica Rotes posted 5,787 million RON in turnover.
The company has a share capital of 8,4 million RON, divided into 8,4 million shares with a face value of 1 RON. Mecanica Rotes shares are listed on Tier I of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, under the symbol METY. The significantshareloders are SIF Oltenia (SIF5), holding 23,94% in the company, Catalin Chelu with 23,18%, Amirastar Trading SA with 20,25% and Ionel Maricel Stan with 11,57%.
