The Oradea City Hall will invest some 2.9 million RON in rehabilitating the Sports Hall, which was transferred from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to the local authorities earlier this year. Construction works are slated for completion by August 30th. Plans are to turn the site itself and the surrounding area into a major sports ground, including a large fountain and parks. The electric installation, score display, lighting installation, locker rooms, toilets, access ways and windows will be entirely renovated. The roof will be repaired later for another 2 million RON.
