EnglishTehnologica Radion, one of the leading road builders in Romania, is expanding operations into stone quarrying and processing. Following investments of over 3 million EUR, the company late last week inaugurated a modern stone quarry in Cerna, Tulcea County. The quarry will have a processing capacity of 300 tons per hour. The investment observes applicable environmental standards and has water and soil quality monitoring equipment. The quarry is also equipped with a dedusting installation. Tehnologica Radion was established in 1993 and has some 2,000 employees. Last year"s turnover was 67,322,000 EUR.
