Spanish-based builder Volumetric is going to build an 11-floor apartment building behind the Brasov County Hospital, on Traian Street. "The top three floors will be recessed from the first eight," said Dan Fasariu, a representative of Volumetric DF Romania, a subsidiary of the Spanish-based group. The building will comprise 156 apartments. "The terraces of three penthouses and five duplexes will be located on the top three levels," Fasariu added. The building will also have an underground parking lot and be branded as Privilegio - Brasov. "We cannot disclose the value of the investment for the time being because we are still negotiating with the contractors, so any financial information we might release could influence the tender," Fasariu added. The developer estimates that construction works will begin in April 2009 an finish in the Spring of 2011. Volumetric is a real estate developer that has recently expanded to Poland, Hungary and Romania. The company could build another two buildings in Romania, in Pitesti. The total target for Romania is 270 apartments. The Spanish-based group has also invested in alternative energy, medical services and the food industry.
