EnglishDrug maker Zentiva SA this year expects a net profit of 37.512.571 RON, up 62,56% compared to 2006. Y2007 turnover is estimated at 243.982.965 RON, increasing by 0,77% year-on-year. Zentiva estimates operating expenses of 116.752.163 RON and operating revenues of 48.425.529 RON.
The Income and Expense Budget was approved in the General Meeting held yesterday. Shareholders also approved the financial results for 2006. The company posted 23.074.860 RON in net profit, up 44,24% from 2005, while turnover gained 25,88%, reaching 242.096.618 RON. Revenues increased by 49,06%, totaling 323.399.989 RON, while expenses amounted to 284.063.444 lei, up 43,56% year-on-year.
Zentiva is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as SCD and has a share capital of 41.696.115 RON, divided into shares with a face value of 0,1 RON/share. The significant shareholders in the company are Venoma Holdings Limited (50,98%), Zentiva NV (23,93%), QVT Fund (14,77%) and Investors Bank & Trust Companz (1,96%).
