A lie: "Boc snatched the microphone away from us"

For hours on end, Realitatea TV yesterday displayed the headline "Boc snatched the microphone away", playing over and over the clip which showed the Prime Minister telling the journalists gathered at the Senate, that some news channels (namely Realitatea TV and Antena 3) distort, manipulate and censor news, and during this time he kept pointing at the microphone he had taken from the female journalist from Realitatea.

"Snatching" means "taking away forcefully".

That is not what Emil Boc did.

He took it.

Without any sudden moves or using violence.

Besides, Emil Boc would be more likely to be accused of being extremely bad as a prime minister, than of lacking civility (he is so polite we actually suspect he lacks personality).

The images which supposedly showed him snatching the microphone showed the opposite.

But that is what the title said: "Boc snatched our microphone".

It was a lie.

This misleading headline was superimposed over the video in which Boc was saying that the very same TV station was lying.

Meaning, the station itself proved the statements of the PM.

I have no questions about their moral principles (it"s obvious they don"t have any, any more than they have professional ethics).

I wonder how unprofessional are the journalists who lied while the whole world was watching someone else calling them out for their lies?!

I wonder how far will those two stations go in their contempt for their audience?

How stupid do they think their viewers are?

How far does the lack of self-respect go?

In February, the viewership of Realitatea TV stagnated, whereas that of Antena 3 continued to drop.
