Aircraft manufacturer Aerostar Bacau concluded three maintenance contracts with a cumulated value of approximately 478.000 RON, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by NewsIn. Aerostar signed the three contracts with British company Aerostar Maintenace International Ltd.
Aerostar concluded 2006 with a net profit of 13,45 million RON (3,9 million EUR), doubling its profit for the previous year. The company posted 140,07 million RON in turnover, up 37% from 2005, when business totaled 102,73 million RON. For 2007, Aerostar expects turnover of 131,5 million RON (38,33 million EUR) and gross profit of 12,11 million RON, of which 10,17 million will be paid out as dividends.
The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as ARS and has a share capital of 29,284 million RON, divided into 11,7 million shares with a face value of 2,50 RON. The majority shareholder is Iarom SA with 71,09% in the company, followed by SIF Moldova with 11,14%.
