Medical Engineering "Exhibits" at the Politehnica University of Bucharest

The National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, through the Faculty of Medical Engineering, is organizing the first edition of MedFEST, an event dedicated to medical engineering and its impact on health, science and industry. It is an opportunity to bring together students, professionals and leading companies from this dynamic sector, to explore how advanced technologies can revolutionize medicine and improve people's lives," said the rector of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, Mihnea Costoiu. According to Costoiu, the global medical technology market has already reached a value of 430 billion dollars and is estimated to exceed 700 billion by 2028, which demonstrates the scale and impact of this sector. "For our young people, this event is an ideal platform for learning and connecting with their future careers, and for the medical industry, an opportunity to collaborate with the newest talents and innovative ideas. At a time when technology and medicine are evolving rapidly, Politehnica Bucharest is committed to being a catalyst for progress, both through education and by facilitating such events that open new perspectives on the future of health," the rector said.
