According to a press announcement, Auchan, Dedeman, Kaufland, Metro Cash&Carry, Penny Market and Real Hypermarket, six international retailers, present on the actual market, have been included in the Major Trade Networks Association in Romania after they expressed their intention of adhering. The Major Trade Networks Association in Romania (AMRCR) has been founded in 2003. AMRCR is the representative organism for the modern trade in Romania, with a number of 23 members. The head of the association is the owner of Mobexpert, Dan Sucu. Beside the new affiliated trade networks, among the AMRCR members are : Altex, Artima, Baumax, Billa, Bricostore, Carrefour, Cora, Diverta, Domo, Flanco, La Fourmi, Mega Image, Mobexpert, Praktiker, Profi, Rodipet, Selgros Cash& Carry. Starting with this year, AMRCR is part of the EuroCommerce, the European Union Trade Associations Confederation. As a consequence, AMRCR members will actively take part at the EuroCommerce work committees.
