Turbomecanica SA Bucharest reported a net profit of 4.036 million RON (1.28 million EUR) for the second quarter of 2007, recording a 7.22% increase from the same period last year, acording to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. In the second quarter, Turbomecanica posted a turnover of 23.94 million RON (7.63 million EUR) down 4.35% from 25.03 million RON in the year-ago quarter.
The company reported a turnover of 41.57 million RON (13.26 million EUR), down 5.6% from 44.05 million RON in the same period last year. The company"s net profit fell 10% in H1 2007, totalling 4.56 million RON (1.45 million EUR).
Turbomecanica expects a net profit of 16.72 million RON at the end of 2007, a 1.2% increase from last year, while revenues should amount to 98.15 million RON, down 14% from 114.14 million RON in 2006.
The company has a share capital of 36.9 million RON (10.91 million EUR), divided into 369,442,475 shares with a face value of 0.10 RON. Turbomecanica is listed on Tier 1 of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as TBM. The significant shareholders in the company are Dana Maria Ciorapciu (15.16%), Radu Viehmann (25.87%) and SIF Banat Crisana (8.45%).
