Aero Vodochody is planning to change the personnel structure at Avioane Craiova, especially in the administrative department, according to Aero Vodochody PR Manager Jana Studnickova quoted by NewsIn. "We are expecting a few changes in the personnel structures, but no worker will be fired. The changes are focused on the administrative component," she said. Further information will be released after the company officially becomes the majority shareholder in Avioane Craiova. Jana Studnickova said the restructuring program would be similar to the one undergone by Aero Vodochody in 2006. At that time, of the total of 1,700 employees, 400 administrative staff were laid off. At the moment, the company has 1,300 employees and is planning to hire another 100 by the year-end. An additional 700 will be hired in the next three years.
