EnglishShares in Alro - Slatina (ALR) will be traded again on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) as of April 2nd as the company has completed the share capital increase. The increased share capital will be 356.89 million RON (106 million EUR) divided into 713.78 million shares with a face value of 0.5 RON.
The company"s estimates for last year indicate a net profit of 378.7 million RON (114.76 million EUR), up 3.3 times from 2005. The preliminary turnover stands at nearly 2.2 billion RON, up by 37% year-on-year. Last year, the company produced 262,056 tons of primary aluminum and 41,004 tons of processed aluminum.
