Apemin - Tusnad, a Romanian mineral water company known for the brands Tusnad, Izvorul Zanelor and Izvorul Ascuns, has become the single Romanian importer and distributor of the Bulgarian-made Florina fruit juice and ice tea. Florin is one of the leading players on the Bulgarian soft drinks market, ranking second with a market share of 11.5%. The consumption rate in Bulgaria is 12 liters/capita, which is twice as much as in Romania.
Established in 1993, Florina is a private producer and distributor of carbonated and noncarbonated soft drinks. "Negotiations with the Bulgarian producer started in the fall of 2006. Our entry on the soft drinks market is a natural consequence of our development and continuous efforts to satisfy the expectations of the increasingly selective Romanian consumers," said Apemin CEO Gyarfas Kurko.
