EnglishThe Authority for State Assets Recovery has sold 24,606.813 shares representing 98.7395% in medical devices manufacturer S.C. Famos S.A. Suceava to S.C. Top Genko S.A. Arad. The contract was signed on August 31st and the total value of the transaction amounts to 6,345,386.9 EUR.
The buyer will invest over 5 million EUR in production technologies, environmental care and working capital, in compliance with the contract. Top Genko will also pay the company"s debt to AVAS, which amounts to 718,316 RON. The buyer agreed not to sell or rent any of the assets that the company uses in its main activity.
At the beginning of the year, AVAS received bids for Famos Suceava from Top Genko and Vecchia Toscana Arad. In February, AVAS chose Top Genko as winning bidder.
