EnglishBosch Rexroth has opened a new high-precision component factory in Blaj and announced plans to hire 300 people by end-2008. The opening required 11 million EUR and has already generated 180 jobs. It is the 42nd Bosch Rexroth factory in the world.
Present at the opening, VP Siegfried Dais said the new factory in Romania was a milestone in expanding the Bosch Rexroth network worldwide. The company opened similar factories in Slovenia, Hungary and China in the past few years. With nearly 30,000 employees, Bosch Rexroth is a leading manufacturer of automation and control technology. Last year"s turnover was 4.9 billion EUR.
