Bostina & Asociatii Posts Over 10 Mln EUR In Turnover

Only 1% of the revenues generated by Bostina & Asociatii Law Firm in 2006 resulted from contracts with State institutions. "Our strategy for the past two years has been to create and develop networks of territorial offices and implement new and attractive services for the private sector - international companies running major projects in Bucharest and especially in the rest of the country where the need for quality legal assistance is even more persistent," said Doru Bostina, the coordinating lawyer.

The State institutions that contracted legal services from Bostina & Asociatii in 2006 were the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of IT&C, AVAS, the Ministry of Transportation, Construction and Tourism, the Ministry of Environment and several local public authorities. "We will soon release the final financial results for 2006. Preliminary calculations indicate that we have exceeded 10 million EUR in turnover.

The strategic decision to configure our service packages so as to best meet the requirements of the private customers and not to focus on the State as a customer - as it was obvious that the privatization process and the related activities would end some day - turned out correct," added Bostina.

The firm will continue to expand in 2007, by opening another four or five offices in the country, and to introduce innovative services and practices to support a fast growth pace. At the end of 2005, the firm reported 6.4 million EUR in turnover and 100 employees and externals. The firm has offices in Bucharest, Vienna, Nicosia and 10 major cities in Romania.
