The merger between Bucharest"s two airports, "Aurel Vlaicu" and "Henri Coanda," has been suspended by court, following a contestation filed by the Utilitarian Aviation. The announcement was made by Transportation Minister Ludovic Orban, who explained that the UA had filed a claim to a 8.9 hectare plot of land and a 17 hectare plot of land near the "Aurel Vlaicu" Airport. Until the matter is clarified, the two companies will continue to operate separately. The minister announced that the Ministry was going to appeal the contestation.
