After several unsuccessful attempts, shareholders in Chimopar (BSE:CPR), a chemical plant located in Bucharest, on Tuesday authorized a 1.62 million RON increase in capital, according to a regulatory notification to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE).
Jafco Holding - Romania, the majority shareholder, will inject 1.58 million RON, whereas minority shareholders will contribute the remainder of the amount.
Upon such occasion, Chimopar will issue 648,074 new shares with a face value of 2.5 RON, equal to the subscription price. The company"s share capital will increase from 31.27 million RON to 32.89 million RON.
Chimopar shares are currently worth 2.6 RON/share, as per the quotation logged on the Bucharest Stock Exchange at closing bell yesterday. The market capitalization of the company would therefore be 32.52 mmillion RON.
Chimopar has projected a 16 per cent year-on-year decrease in revenues to 19.5 million RON and a 33 per cent year-on-year decrease in expenditures from 32.67 million RON to 21.8 million RON.
