Dacia sales reached 62,635 units (cars and utility vehicles) in the first three months of the year, up by 37% y/y from 45,732 units, according to a press release from Renault.
Of the 62,635 units sold by Dacia in Q1, 58,857 were cars (+33.8% y/y), and 3,778 were utility vehicles (+116% y/y). At European level, Dacia sales gained 71.2% in Q1.
At group level, Renault sales reached 638,554 units, up by 6.5% y/y. Cars gained 7.9% to 538,909 units whereas utility vehicles declined 0.7% to 99,645 units. In terms of market share, Renault has 34.9% in Romania and 8.9% in Europe.
