Minister Laszlo Borbely of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing Development (MDLPL) told a press conference in Targu Mures last Friday that the forthcoming budget rectification would bring the Ministry an additional 200 million RON. "The budget rectification will allocate funds to ministries, for the time being. What I can tell you is that MDLPL will receive some 200 million lei, which is good for the infrastructure works at county level. The actual allocation per county will probably be done through a Government decision in August," Borbely said. He specified that part of the money would be spent on repairing the Sports Hall in Targu Mures, host to the European Basketball Championship - Under 20. The minister stressed that the town of Targu Mures would have a second sports hall that could be used both as an indoor skating rink and a sports hall. The ongoing construction project received 3 million RON last year and 7 million RON this year.
