EnglishThe listing of Romgaz, Hidroelectrica and Nuclearelectrica on the Stock Exchange is not possible before 2008, whereas Transgaz may be listed this year, according to Economy and Trade Minister Varujan Vosganian. He added that Romgaz, Nuclearelectrica and Hidroelectrica will have a different consultant in this matter than the one appointed for Transgaz and the appointment process will be separate. The consultant for Transgaz will be announced next week.
According to Mr. Vosganian, in the following weeks, the Ministry of Economy and Trade will begin the evaluation in order to start listing procedures for Nuclearelectrica, Hidroelectrica and Romgaz, "in this exact order". Transgaz will be listed as well and approximately 10-15% of each company"s shares will be sold through the Stock Exchange. Vosganian also said that the energy sector requires investments totaling 5 billion EUR and part of the money can be obtained by selling minority stakes on the Stock exchange.
