The world is in crisis, and the concern over exiting the "labyrinth" is a major and justified one.
The president of the Bursa group, known as Make to the general public, has found the solution to crisis and - is generously providing this key to solving this equation which has driven the world crazy in the book "The solution to the crisis - Terminus a quo".
At the launch, which was held at the Gaudeamus book fair, last week, Cornel Codiţă revealed some of the "manufacturing secrets" of this book: "I did not browse the book, I have read it, several times. I am going to make a confession, usually when I present a book I try from the get go to prove that I am smarter than the book and the author combined. This time, I have to leave this paradigm aside, it is impossible, all I am doing is telling you something about this what this book contains, from my point of view. To tell you what this book is I had to invent a new concept, namely the concept of philosophical installation. The installation concept comes from art, the artistic installation, unlike any industrial installation has a fabulous advantage, namely the fact that it is not required to obey any of the rules of matter, nor the law of gravity, nor anything in the material plane, but on the other hand it has to and does obey the logic of its creator, i.e. of the artist. This is precisely what Make's book did, his book does not listen to the logic of matter, nor substance, but instead it listens to the logic of the author, who clearly has an intention, which I am going to say a few things about as well. Despite what 99% of the people who know that Make is the owner of the BURSA newspaper and is interested in the economic world to an extreme extent from a professional point of view would have expected from him, this is not a book about economics. It is a philosophical book and my argument in favor of this claim is very simple, all of the philosophical claims are placed on the level of «how can it be achieved?» and the question asked by MAKE and by the book is «how can the world beyond the crisis be achieved?». In that regard, MAKE's book is a philosophical installation. He says, with a certain dose of honesty that the way he created this book was a kind of game, a game which he has remembered -remembering is one of the favorite games of creating - from his childhood, when he was required to write an essay but he wanted to write a book. He pieced together the various materials available and turned them into a book and that is how he made this one. But he is not telling the truth when describing that process, that is not how he did it. The other key word of the book is the word "labyrinth". I've encountered this intellectual obsession of MAKE, the philosopher, rather than the artist, when I got close to his daughter's work and I understood from my talks with him how important this instrument of the labyrinth is to him, in the attempt to understand what is happening all over the world. The essence of the story: it is a labyrinth book, it is a philosophical installation, which suggests to a degree, but does not absolutely decree how the post-crisis world is possible. That we are now in a different world there is no doubt, it is one of the few voices who has shouted in the public square «we are living in a different world » and has announced the day when that happened. What I invite you to do is to travel the labyrinth yourselves. I hope that everyone will have the revelation, will experience the apocalypse, like MAKE says, when they get to the center of the labyrinth and to leave there with a spiritual charge, so that they can deal with this new world".
Sociologist Alin Teodorescu admits that he has his own image and explanation for the crisis, but that he is willing at any time to listen to and analyze other answers on this topic: "I was left speechless. I would never have imagined MAKE would write a book. Every now and again, I would read his editorials, with the financial crisis in full swing, which then became a banking crisis, then an economic one, and I had the joy of reading an editorial about the final encyclical of the Autoencephalous Greek Church in BURSA. This is a superb book, I've simply been enjoying it for two days. I have a completely different picture and explanation for what happened in 2008-2009, but that does not mean that I do not acknowledge his right of seeking his own answer and his own answer is extraordinarily interesting. He sought it in religion! In the organization of churches. There is a sentence in which he says, uniquely, that the Orthodox Church is a little more democratic than the Catholic Church, but on the other hand, the Catholic Church is more efficient. If you think of certain things from the past or the ones that we have experienced you realize that he is right, and that is not based on observation, but on analysis. He includes a few dozens pages about the Shmita, which is the rule that every seven years, the moral and financial debts should be cancelled, in other words like the current day bailouts. Except the debts of the Shmita are cancelled by invoking a greater than human power, when the bailout has been performed and is still done at the expense of the regular taxpayer. The solution which MAKE provides for the financial crisis you will find yourselves, in my opinion is a new solution, but in this book MAKE says that an age has ended and another one has begun. The age of loans with interest and the sanctification of the obligation of to pay has ended and the age when the obligation to give is being established in the world".
Beyond any interpretation, the author's message is clear: there is an alternative!
