At the General Shareholder Meeting of Friday, Lucian Anghel has snuck away, just like he usually does,- in his case, the last impression confirms the one he had left to people earlier, and all of them confirm the initial impression.
Yes, it's enough to take just one look at him - Anghel has a hesitating posture, of a bookworm that assimilates books metabolically, but not intellectually.
Unable to make decisions, unreliable, getting upset for no serious reasons, hiding the truth from the public, perhaps even from the shareholders (I think that he is hiding the truth from himself as well).
How can anyone nominate someone like him as the Chairman of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, let alone vote for him?!
You usually only get to see that in the public sector!
The strawman of the banking shareholders of the BSE has lost a year and a half to find a CEO, and then to lose him.
During all that time, he has achieved nothing.
Zilch.
He went to the Warsaw Stock Exchange and when he got there all he did was look down at his shoes.
Upon his return, he told his colleagues on the Board that the personalities which were supposed to be there actually weren't.
You take one look at him and you feel embarrassed to tell him "Dude, learn a skill, start weaving baskets, make yourself useful!"
You feel embarrassed to tell him that - the man is wearing a suit and a tie...
When the journalist from BURSA approached him, in the beginning of the General Shareholder Meeting, Anghel ran away.
He just ran away!
In the end of the meeting, the journalist from BURSA caught up with him in another room and got his statement:
After that, he ran away.
He knows how to run away.
Man, I've been living with this feeling of embarrassment for more than a year, I understand that it is just the way some people are, and I understand it's not a nice thing to do, it just isn't nice to laugh at them; but they should stay in their sandbox, to avoid getting in the way of others!
How can you be like that and be the president of the Bucharest Stock Exchange?!
It's not just the Poles that are laughing at us, we're a laughing stock, period!
It would seem that even Pogonaru has caught on...
I am not to blame for speaking out about this - what am I going to choose: to be gentle to someone's sensitivities?
OK, but if Anghel knows what he is like, why didn't he just stay with his job?
Doesn't he know what he is like himself?
Why did he accept to be the President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange?!
Because in fact, this is not about Anghel, (I've got nothing against him, may God give him strength and help him!), this is about the Bucharest Stock Exchange ...
The Bucharest Stock Exchange is the pathetic one.
I would be pathetic if I keep silent any longer.
And I've been silent for over a year now.
Out of politeness - "You can't do that!"
Pathetic!
