Transavia expects a turnover of 50.4 million EUR for the current year, up 20% from 42 million EUR in 2006, after having launched a new brand of fresh poultry, Fragedo, according to NewsIn. By launching this new product, the company expects to strengthen its position as market leader on the fresh poultry segment, which accounts for over 85% of Transavia"s production and sales.
The company"s investments will surpass the initial estimates of 12 million EUR this year, amounting to approximately 15 million EUR.
Transavia is currently expanding its processing plant, by adding 2,500 square meters to the existing 10,000 square meters. The project will be finalized within a month.
In August, the company will launch an integrated advertising campaign in order to promote its new brand Fragedo. Two other products will be launched by the begining of 2008.
