EnglishDairy producer Albalact Alba Iulia reported a turnover of 11.461.275 EUR, a 215% increase compared with 5.325.925 EUR in the year-ago quarter. Net profit totaled 1.500.000 EUR in the first three months, up 435% from 344.730 EUR in the same period last year.
Albalact ended 2006 with a turnover of 102.107.766 RON (29.007.800 EUR), increasing by 65% from 2005, when the company posted 61.864.181 RON (16.826.930 EUR) in turnover. Net profit rose by 92% yoy, amounting to 6.024.614 RON (1.711.538 EUR).
Albalact is one of the five largest dairy producers in Romania. The company"s main brands are Fulga, Zuzu and Albalact.
