EnglishAsirom will increase share capital by 1.10 million RON (some 351,700 EUR) to 64,89 million RON by adding several plots of land for which the Ministry of Finance has issued deeds. The insurer will issue 11.04 million shares to the State Assets Recovery Authority (AVAS). The share capital increase was decided by the shareholders on July 9th.
Interagro is the leading shareholder with 50%, followed by Broadhurst Investments with 14.93%, QVT Fund - 12.23% and AVAS with 6.38%. After the increase, Interagro will have 49.149%, whereas AVAS will have 7.97%.
Asirom reported a Y2006 gross profit of 14 million RON, following losses of 36 million RON in 2005. Last year"s revenues totaled 638 million RON (181 million EUR) up by 7.8% from 2005. Estimates for this year indicate a 15-20% increase in revenues.
