EnglishThe first Ramada Plaza in Romania will open in Bucharest by the year-end following a 12 million EUR by Parc Hotels SA into the renovation of Turist Hotel, which will thereby become the Ramada Plaza Bucharest Convention Center (4+ stars). Measuring over 14,000 sq.m., the Ramada Plaza has 300 rooms and as many employees. Parc Hotels SA manages the Best Western Parc Hotel, the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Casa Doina la Parc Restaurant, Parc Event Center and Parc Health Club.
"Our objectives include an average occupancy rate of 60% in the first year and 70% in the second year. The inauguration of the Ramada Plaza Bucharest Convention Center is part of Wyndham"s plan to open over 500 Ramada hotels outside the US by the end of 2008," said Daniel Ben-Yehuda, the General Manager of the Ramada Plaza.
