FM Logistic estimates an increase in turnover of 22 million Euros

FM Romania, one of the most important logistics players in the FMCG sector, expects its turnover to increase 22 million Euros this year, as it succeeded in raising new customers.

According to company officials, FM never had a losing a year and its goal remains to maintain its 10-12% annual growth rate. According to the financial balance sheet, last year, the company had a net turnover of 20 million Euros.

FM Logistic has been operating on the Romanian market since 2003, offering logistic services (storage/handling, domestic and internal shipping, co-packing) to prestigious companies such as Cora, L'Oreal, Yves Rocher (in Bucharest) and Nestle, P&G (in the county of Timiş).

The company, which owns a storage area of approximately 80,000 sqm, has 700 employees. Storage and manipulation accounts for 57% of the company's turnover, whereas domestic shipping accounts for 40% of the revenues, and co-packing accounts for 3%.

The domestic shipping services are provided to the main customers of FM Logistic in Romania, as well as to the companies PROFI Rom Foods, Sarantis, Boromir, Coca-Cola, SCA Packaging, Pepsico, Dufa Deutek, Albalact, Bunge, Rompak, Carrefour, etc.

FM Logistic has three logistics platforms: in Chiajna (13,000 sqm), Petreşti (18,000 sqm) and Timiş (46,000 sqm).

Since its creation in Russia, in 1994, FM Logistic has continued its expansion abroad. The company is currently present in various countries of Western Europe (Spain, France, Belgium, Italy), Central Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania), Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Russia) and in Asia (China). Some of the most renowned international customers include Danone, Unilever, Kraft Foods, P&G, etc.

In July 2010, FM Logistic acquired the majority stake in Aexxdis, European leader in the logistics of pharmaceutical products.

On that date, FM Health Supply announced the completion of one of the most modern distribution centers on the Romanian pharmaceutical market. An investment of over 700,000 Euros was needed for the investment of FM Health Supply needed to Adapting the FM Logistic warehouse to the pharmaceutical standards and regulations required an investment of over 700,000 Euros. FM Health Supply Chain provides logistics services to the main pharmaceutical companies on the Romanian market, such as Sanofi-Aventis and Roche (for the storage side), Laropharm, Infomedfluids, Terapia Ranbaxy, Roche etc., which are the company's main customers on the domestic shipping side of the business.
