In January, a number of 1.573 building permits was issued for the construction of residential buildings, out of which 65% are for the rural area, on the decrease by 7.1% compared to the same month of the last year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
At the regional level, the most significant decreases recorded in the areas South Wallachia (83 building permits), North-East (42) and Center (32).
Instead, rises of their number issued for the construction of residential buildings were recorded in the development areas Bucharest-Ilfov, with 37 building permits, in the West 8 building permits, and in the North-West with 7 building permits.
