Russian company "Gazprom" has announced that it has completed the project documentation for a gas transit system intended to feed South Stream among others. "Gazprom" considers that the finalization of these documents is crucial because it synchronizes with the development stages of South Stream.
"According to the development schedule, phase I of the GTS southern transport corridor will begin in December 2012 and will be completed in 2015, in parallel with the launch of the first stage of South Stream", the officials of "Gazprom" say.
The first stage of the transit system involves the construction of over 500 mile of pipelines.
