RTC Group began its activities in real estate last year with a 6 million EUR investment in a residential complex which will be built in Sibiu. The project developed by RTC Group consists of 3 apartment buildings, comprising approximately 100 apartments. The residential complex will occupy a buildable surface area of 9000 square meters and will be finalized within one year. The investment in Sibiu will be followed, towards the end of the year, by a similar project in the northern area of Bucharest. RTC Holding, one of the largest retail and distribution groups on the Romanian market, concluded 2006 with a turnover of 261 million EUR and plans to top 1 billion RON this year.
