Trident will open the Trident Shopping Center in Sibiu towards the end of the year, according to a press release from the company. The site will measure some 21,000 square meters in built surface and create 250 new jobs. It will be the largest in the Trident network (8,500 square meters). The investment was originally announced in 2006. Trident currently operates three hypermarkets (in Medias, Deva and Sfantu Gheorghe) and two supermarkets (Sibiu and Alba Iulia).
