The Minister of Transports announced the signing of the contract for the "Upgrading the 2nd Section of the ring road of Sibiu to freeway standard - and the rehabilitation of County Road DJ 106B". The call for tender was won by Vectra Service. The total value of the contract is 9,852,910.04 Euros (without VAT), according to a press release sent to our editors. 75% of the eligible value of the project will come from grants given by European Commission through the ex -ISPA facility, with the remaining amount to come from Government funds. The project is scheduled to complete in 14 months.
