Anca Bunea, general manager of WBS Romania and one of the trusted people of Cristian Sima, was appointed to lead the Romanian Clearing House CRC, according to a press release received yesterday by our editors. Mrs. Anca Bunea will fill the position of president of the Board of Directors of the Romanian Clearing House until the General Meeting of Shareholders, which has been scheduled on July 15th/16th 2011, the press release also states.
As part of this general shareholder meeting, new members of the Board of Directors will be elected. Submissions for those positions can be sent to the company"s headquarters by July 5th, 2011 inclusive.
Anca Bunea took over the management of brokerage firm WBS Romania after Cristian Sima resigned from the positions of president and CEO, at the end of April, to run for the management of the Sibiu Exchange.
Mr. Sima has been elected on the Board of Directors of Sibex, at the elections of April 29th, and then, in the first meeting of the new Board of Directors, he was also elected as president. He has however been prevented from taking over the management of Sibex after the Court of Sibex suspended the enactment of the General Shareholder Meetings of April.
