AT THE END OF 2012 Franklin Templeton had investments of 100 million dollars on the BSE

The investment funds of Franklin Templeton (FT), the manager of the Proprietatea Fund had shares worth almost 100 million Euros in companies listed on the BSE, according to a report by brokerage firm Prime Transaction. The portfolio of FT included nine issuers: BRD, Banca Transilvania, "Petrom", the five SIFs and the BSE.

The biggest holding in terms of value, was that of SNP, amounted to 44.4 million dollars (0.62% of the share capital), followed by BRD, 15.09 million dollars (1.71% of the share capital), and TLV, valued at 12.2 million dollars (0.9% of the share capital).

Out of the SIFs, the most valuable stake was that in SIF3 (6.6 million dollars), followed by the ones owned by SIF1 (6.1 million dollars), SIF2 (5.9 million dollars), SIF5 (4.9 million dollars) and SIF4 (3.4 million dollars).
