Inorganic chemicals producer Chimopar Bucharest will increase its share capital by 2.73 million RON (840,000 EUR), from 20.46 million RON to 23.19 million RON. Jafco Holding Romania SA has subscribed for shares worth 2.149 million RON, the remaining 581,450 RON being subscribed by minority shareholders. Thus, SIF Muntenia will contribute 424,862 RON, Broadhurst Investments Limited - 92,640 RON, Norma Abbas Choeib - 39,882 RON, SC Avrig 35 SRL - 23,472 RON and Rafic Jawad Badran - 592 RON). The share capital increase will be discussed in the General Meeting scheduled in July.
The company ended 2006 with losses of 3.17 million RON and a turnover of 31.56 million RON. Chimopar has a share capital of 20.46 million RON, divided into 8.185 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON.The majority shareholder is Jafco Holding Romania, with over 73% in the company. Chimopar shares are traded in the "unlisted" category of the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol CPR.
