The office buildings which will be built in the Western area of Bucharest will be large-scale, Business Park-type projects, with class A facilities, according to Mihaela Cnobloch, consultant with DTZ Echinox. She added that most projects developed in this area are intended for the commercial segment, which is mainly due to the high population density in Militari, Crangasi and Drumul Taberei neighbourhoods.
Moreover, the office market is on the rise in this area, due to easy acces to the center and North of the capital and to the possibility to transform several former industrial complexes into modern spaces.
In the Western area there have been significant developments, namely large-scale projects, such as the Business Park-type Sema Park and West Gate, and class A office buildings like Anchor Plaza, Cotroceni Park, Global Business Center and Riverside. The rent for such offices reaches 14-16 EUR/sqm/mth.
